Chinese name: Lu Shan Yun Wu 庐山云雾
This tea comes from a picturesque mountain range (Mountain Lu) where the cloudy and misty weather could last nearly 200 days a year. It was originally discovered and used by Buddhist monks and slowly promoted as a common drink. After steeping, the wet tea reveals a nice fruity note which lends sweetness to the liquid. Its creamy smoothness makes a clean and refreshing aftertaste that contributes to a pleasant mouthfeel.
This tea belongs to our Yīn 阴 |HARMONY collection.
3g | 100ml | 80 °C | 10s
We recommend a steeping temperature of 80 °C (175 °F), where you can set the boiling water aside and allow it to cool down for a couple of minutes. Then take 3 grams of tea with 100ml water to steep for 10 seconds, or increase to 5 grams with a shorter steeping time if you prefer a stronger tea. The tea can be re-steeped 3-5 times when using a tea egg, filter bag, or Chinese Gaiwan / teapot.
