A unique winter Dancong Oolong tea ( Da Wu Ye 雪片大乌叶) with typical large dark leaves. With steeping, a strong orchid aroma instantly comes out with a honey flavour. The liquid first appears to be light and yellow, and slowly turns warmer after each brewing. The leaves then reveal their natural green colour with a reddish outer layer.

The mountain Phoenix has been the birthplace of many high-quality Oolong tea since the Chinese Tang dynasty (year 618-907). The humid weather and over 1000 meters attitude provided a cool growing environment for its tea plantation. Oolong tea is also considered to be the "perfume" in tea, as there are hundreds of different aromas available. The winter harvest (nickname: snowflake) is one of the unique productions that is famous for its strong aroma. This "snowy" Oolong quietly waits and develops its aroma, and offers an enjoyable tasting experience from different senses in smell and taste.

We recommend a steeping temperature of 100 °C (212 °F) to fully stimulate the strong aroma of this Oolong tea. Take 5 grams of tea with 110ml water to steep for 3 seconds. Or increase to 5 grams with a shorter steeping time if you prefer a stronger tea. The tea can be
re-steeped several times when using a tea egg, filter bag, or Chinese Gaiwan/Yixing teapot. This tea is best suited for consuming in small cups to appreciate the tea with patience.
