Wild White (Ye Sheng) 野生白茶

Chinese name: 野生白茶 – Wild White ( Ye Sheng Yun’nan sun-dried Bai Mu Dan)

This tea is truly one of a kind. Pressed into a charming cookie shape, it is made from Wild Tea Tree (Ye Sheng Cha) that thrives untamed in Lincang, Yun’nan. Harvested only once a year in March, these leaves are carefully processed, sun-dried rather than processed like Yue Guang Bai, this tea retains its natural essence and complexity.

The flavor is just as distinctive. Layers of floral notes intertwine with hints of sugarcane, balanced by a brief, pleasant bitterness that quickly melts away. With just a few months of aging, that bitterness transforms into a rich, fruity sweetness, leaving a lingering and evolving aftertaste.

Warm Brew

1pc | 120ml | 95°C | 15s | 7-10 steeps

We recommend a steeping water temperature of 95°C. Then take 1 piece of the tea (5.5g) with 120ml water, steep for 3 seconds to rinse off. Drink from the 2nd steep and onward, sit 15 seconds. Can last at least 7-10 steeps.

When using a larger tea pot, please leave it in for 5 mins.

Cold brew

1pc (5.5g) | 750ml | 5 °C | 8 – 12 hrs

Take 1 piece of tea with 750ml cold water and keep it in the fridge for 8-12 hours, then strain it, can be kept in the fridge for 3 days. We recommend preparing it in the evening before you go to bed, or in the morning so you can enjoy it during the day. If you want to keep it in the bottle for longer hours, please start with a lower amount of tea to avoid getting too strong. Don’t worry if the tea doesn’t fully unfurl,
its full flavor will still be released into the tea soup.
