Dive into the Art of Chinese Tea — Gong Fu Cha workshop

Step into the refined world of Chinese tea and discover Gong Fu Cha—the traditional Chinese tea ceremony that celebrates mindfulness, craftsmanship, and sensory appreciation.

In this intimate workshop, you will explore the rich history and cultural philosophy behind Chinese tea while learning to recognize the six main categories of Chinese tea. Hosted in a thoughfully designed Tea room in An Chi Amsterdam, the experience is limited to 8 tea seats, ensuring a personal and immersive journey.

You will taste five premium Chinese teas( including aged and rare teas), carefully curated by YIN CHA to showcase distinct origins, processing styles, and flavor profiles. 

Guided by our experienced tea master, you will deepen your understanding of fine tea tasting—focusing on aroma, taste, texture, and aftertaste. All teas will be brewed in the traditional Gong Fu Cha style, using classic vessels such as porcelain gaiwan and Yixing teapots, while sharing practical brewing techniques and cultural insights. To complete the experience, each participant will receive their own Gong Fu Cha set to practice traditional Chinese tea ceremony during the workshop.
