Chinese name: Hua Zhu Liang Zi Sheng Pu'er 滑竹梁子生普
The history of Pu’er tea can be traced back to over one thousand years ago, and Menghai has been the most famous tea production area. The Pu’er tea is plucked from large, complete leaves which present an enriched flavour. As a creature on the highest mountain in its region, you can almost taste the “wildness” of its unique environment. It is well‑known that Sheng Pu’er has a refreshing smoothness whose initial bitterness fades away as it ages. The natural components and flavours have also been well developed in this 2017 tea.
Many Pu’er teas are pressed into tea cakes through machinery to better support tea storage and transportation. The ones with higher quality are normally shaped through stones by hand. Our dragon balls are entirely handmade by local farmers to improve their preservation and quality.
This tea belongs to our Yǐn 隐 | RECLUSE collection.
1pc | 100ml | 100 °C | 30s,1s,1s..
We recommend a steeping temperature of 100 °C (212 °F), allowing the boiling water to dissolve the dragon ball through the first brew. After keeping it in the cup for 30 seconds with 100ml water, drain off the water from the tea leaves completely to begin the actual brewing.
For the following 3 times, you can pour the water out directly after brewing. When it gets less strong, allow the leaves to stay longer every time and slowly increase the brewing time depending on your preference. It can be re-steep up to 15-20 times.
